Socially Integrated WiFi

For the 21 Icons exhibit held at MOAD, an augmented reality smartphone app was developed to showcase the art pieces. Quick Connect built out and serviced a wireless network for the 3-week duration of the exhibit which users made use of to access content via the app. The art pieces were on display in the basement where other mobile data signal is obstructed, so connectivity was a key component of the exhibit. As users joined the Wi-Fi network, they Checked-In to MOAD via the Facebook integration that we implemented. There were over 500 people at the launch evening of the event, many of which made use of the network to download the app and interface with the artwork.
